The North End - Virginia Beach Neighborhoods
There is nothing like living within walking distance of the ocean. In many beach towns on the East Coast, living on the ocean means isolation, like the Outer Banks. The North End in Virginia Beach is different because the city hums along at about the same pace year round. Sure the boardwalk hotels swell in the summer, but most of us don't even seem to notice. The residents of the North End can enjoy the beach from April through October. I have walked down the beach in January with the temperature in the 70's (not every day, but it happens). The homes in the North End come in all shapes and sizes and the prices look very attractive when compared to many of the beach towns farther north. Most of the North End is only a couple blocks wide. First Landing State Park boxes it in up north and Bay Colony does the same in the south. The ocean side of Atlantic Ave comes with a higher price tag but a shorter walk to the beach.
The pictures of the North End in the slideshow below will give you a taste of the look and feel for what the homes and streets are like in the North End.
Check out the pictures above and the homes for sale below to give you a better idea of whether or not the North End is right for you. As always, you won’t know for sure until you do your research, pick up your phone to call me, and come to visit and go house hunting!
