Cape Henry Shores Virginia Beach
and Cape Story by the Sea
My wife and I both agree that Cape Henry Shores is where we should have lived when we first moved to Virginia Beach. The waterfront homes in Cape Story by the Sea provide outstanding deep water access to the Lynnhaven Bay. Walk the other way and you will find yourself on the beaches of the Chesapeake Bay, which are nearly identical to the oceanfront beaches. The waves are just tiny which makes it much easier to swim and kayak in. The streets are quiet and shaded and there is no through traffic. The walking/biking trail that runs through First Landing State Park also goes right through the middle of Cape Henry Shores. You could walk or bike all the way to 65th Street at the oceanfront without seeing a car!
McMansions and sidewalks are noticeably absent in Cape Henry Shores. The people who live here don’t care about such things. To them, life is not about living inside. Life is about being close to all the wonderful things Virginia Beach and Cape Henry Shores has to offer. “Outdated kitchen? Who cares! I’ll remodel it after I have finished boating, biking, kayaking, and walking on the beach.”
Great schools… check. Great location…check. There is a reason homes are more valuable in the northern parts of Virginia Beach. Take a look at Cape Henry Shores and you will see why.
